Here's how to upgrade firefox version 4.0 in ubuntu

step by steps:

1. First open your terminal and add the repository Mozilla Firefox, and then update the repository on your ubuntu :

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable 

$ sudo apt-get update

2. When finished adding the repository and update the repository on your Ubuntu, then upgrade.

$ sudo apt-get upgrade

3. Upgrade finished and then install Mozilla Firefox on your terminal

$ sudo apt-get install firefox ubufox  

After all that is done open your Mozilla Firefox

And Firefox succeeded in upgrading to version 4.0
